Postpartum Support International increases awareness among public and professional communities about the emotional changes that parents experience during pregnancy and postpartum. PSI provides direct peer support to families, trains professionals, and provides a bridge between them. Advocacy efforts include the Mind the Gap campaign, in coalition with partner organizations across the U.S. Our direct support for parents includes the HelpLine, peer mentoring, online support groups, and local and specialized Support Coordinators to help parents find care. Our services for professionals include trainings and certification, awareness materials for clinics, the Perinatal Health Alliance for People of Color, our perinatal psychiatric ConsultLine, and more. Pediatricians and family doctors meet parents at a critical stage for perinatal mental health screening; we encourage you to make use of PSI tools and resources for your families.
