Congratulations to Lisa Kibler, RN, on the Neurosciences Unit as our DAISY Award winner! Colleagues throughout Gillette praise Lisa for her innovative approach to patient care and for being a trusted mentor. Lisa decided to become a nurse after witnessing her best friend in critical condition after a car accident. "I watched in awe as the nurses cared for my friends. These nurses taught us how to knit, decorated my friend’s room, and gave us the space to be goofy teenagers. These two friends and I are now nurses. The three of us pull from our experiences to provide the best care to our patients and their loved ones." Thank you, Lisa, for all you have done and continue to do for Gillette and our patients!

“My role is to really connect with families, understand what their underlying values and core principles are, and align with those. Then I #advocate on their behalf to make sure that all of their wishes are being addressed appropriately. This includes their quality of life, pain and difficult symptom management,” said Todd Dalberg, DO, who leads our #palliative and integrative care specialty. Watch his video to learn more. And, if you have experience with Dr. Dalberg, we’d appreciate you taking a moment to give a review on Google: https://lnkd.in/gpKsbSrF
