Five steps to designing an inviting ministry space! 1. Create an inviting welcome area! Making sure that parents and children feel welcomed when they arrive is important. Check-in stations ensure that everyone feels welcomed, acknowledged, and safe as well as allow the parents a chance to talk with church staff.   2. Large open floor spaces in children's ministry spaces allow children to play, learn, dance, and more. It also allows the space to be easily transformed for activities and examples. The large floor space also allows activities to be split up between different age groups while staying together as a community.  3. Choosing a timeless design ensures that the money you put into your ministry transformation is well-spent and long-lasting. Using bright colors and an interesting story invites children to learn more and be engaged. Make sure your design is pointed at the correct audience and not just the current trends.  4. Upgrade your ministry space with interactive elements! Anything from a tv advertising upcoming events, games, a chalkboard wall, or a dry-erase board invites children to feel like they are a part of your space. Allowing them to use their own creativity to put a little spin on things makes your space more inviting and exciting.  5. Good lighting can make a huge difference in your space! You worked so hard to create a welcoming ministry space so you want to make sure the lights don’t ruin it. Using soft lighting and natural light instead of bright overhead lights makes your space feel more intentional and inviting. Looking for more tips and tricks like this? When you are designing a space it makes sense to choose a design that will be in style for years to come but you also have to consider your audience. Taking a “modern” approach is common because it currently fits the trends but it hardly meets the needs of children. Choosing a design style full of color, characters, and excitement is what children love. Entering a sterile doctor's office or church isn’t going to calm their nerves. Choose the colorful, timeless option by working with Wacky World. Learn more in the below link… https://lnkd.in/eujJxy9u
