Today is World Human Milk Donation Day. Our Mothers’ Milk Bank, one of only two in-hospital milk banks in the country, provides pasteurized donor human milk to infants on our Philadelphia and King of Prussia campuses. We would like to highlight one of our donors, Kara, who explained her experience: “Our breastfeeding journey had a rocky start, but with the help of a fantastic lactation consultant, we persevered and now, I'm passionate about the benefits of breastfeeding. Being a donor is incredibly fulfilling." We accept milk donations from mothers of CHOP patients so if able, then you can make a difference by donating!
