Taryn E. Scibienski, MD (she/her/hers)

Pediatric Hospitalist
Duke University

Taryn Scibienski is a Medical Instructor in the Department of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Duke Children's Hospital. She has been at Duke since 2019. She originally worked as a nocturnist comanaging surgical patients for 3 years before transitioning to a daytime faculty position in 2022. Taryn is originally from Michigan where she earned her BA in Organizational Studies at the University of Michigan and her MD at Michigan State University. She completed residency training at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and during this time helped to develop system-based approaches to improve the quality of transition from hospital to home.
