I am from a small town in central Texas, and I attended Tarleton State University to study Biomedical Sciences before going to medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine. I completed my pediatric and chief residency at Baylor College of Medicine - San Antonio where I discovered my interest in medical education, particularly as it intersects with other academic areas like advocacy. I am currently a 2nd year PHM fellow at Baylor College of Medicine - Houston, and I am pursuing a Master's degree in medical education.
