Kids’ use of headphones can lead to hearing loss. Other noise sources such as infant sleep machines, toys, concerts, life events– also can be hazardous. Beyond hearing loss, excessive noise exposure can affect learning, sleep, and psychologic/physiologic parameters. This session will review common noise sources and discuss ways to lessen exposures and effects.
