Elizabeth Davis, MD is a pediatric hospitalist and the fellowship director of the Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) fellowship program with Baylor College of Medicine at the Children's Hospital of San Antonio. After obtaining her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completing pediatric residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, she completed a PHM fellowship at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, TX. Dr. Davis has interests in fellow education and QI, has received advanced QI training, and is a graduate of the AAP Advancing Pediatric Educator eXcellence (APEX) Teaching Program. In addition, Dr. Davis has had global health interests since her time in college. She is specifically interested in sustainability and cultural humility in global health. Dr. Davis completed the Global Health Scholars Program during medical school and pursued opportunities in this arena during medical school and fellowship. She is currently the co-director of the resident global health rotation and is focusing her scholarly work on improving care for hospitalized immigrant children and identifying factors and characteristics that affect their clinical outcomes.
