Pediatric hospitalist

I am currently a pediatric hospitalist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego, in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM). I also serve as the Associate PHM Fellowship Director and am actively involved with the education and mentorship of pediatric hospital medicine fellows. Prior to this, I completed my dual Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Master Educator fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, during which I earned a Master’s in Medical Education through the University of Cincinnati. My clinical/academic areas of interest include: pediatric hospital medicine, medical education and educational technology, family-centered rounds (FCR), and quality improvement. Nationally, I am a member of the national I-PASS Study Group, and I also serve as the co-chair of the Marketing and Recruitment Subcommittee of the PHM Fellowship Directors Council.
