Dr. Brittan is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has 20 years of clinical experience as a pediatric hospitalist and 12 years of mixed-methods research and quality improvement experience since completing a T32 Primary Care Research Training Fellowship and an MPH in 2011. His academic pursuits have focused on several clinical, quality, and policy-relevant topics, and he has successfully applied for extramural grant funding to support these efforts. His interests include transitions of care (hospital-to-home), readmissions, social determinants of health, pediatric mental health, care of children with medical complexity, population health, and pediatric respiratory health outcomes research.
