S4807: Section Showcase: Polio Eradication and Current Challenges

This session will look at recent outbreaks of polio in the United States and the challenges of reaching endemic regions in other countries with vaccinations. Lessons learned from polio prevention provide understanding of how to increase immunization rates in general, particularly to prevent COVID-19, and combat vaccine hesitancy worldwide.
