There are barriers to obtaining accurate blood pressure screening in outpatient settings, particularly with young children. The first portion of this session will discuss these barriers and provide recommendations on hypertension screening. During the second portion, participants will have hands-on practice applying techniques of accurate blood pressure measurement.
