S4309: Preventing and Responding to Dental Trauma in the Pediatric Office

This session reviews the recognition, treatment and prevention of dental subluxations, displacements, and avulsions to primary and permanent teeth, including differentiating non-accidental from accidental trauma. Participants will learn management of soft tissue injury, including oral piercings; and weighing the need for and risks of operating room based dental procedures.
