Trauma informed care (TIC) includes recognizing, evaluating, and responding to traumatic stress. Pediatricians may encounter children who have had development, behavior or physical health consequences of trauma. This session will use case studies to illustrate how to recognize symptoms and respond in an effective (and efficient) way.
