National WIC Association

WIC—the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children—is the United States' premier public health nutrition program, providing supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income families and those at nutritional risk.

The National WIC Association (NWA) is the nonprofit voice for the 12,000 WIC provider agencies and more than 6.7 million mothers, babies, and young children enrolled in the program.
