Rady Children’s Hospital - San Diego

Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego is the region's pediatric medical center serving San Diego, Imperial, southern Riverside counties and beyond. We treat children from birth to 18 years old as well as a small number of adults with certain conditions for which we have specialized services.

Rady Children’s has been named by U.S. News & World Report to its 2023 - 2024 Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll, a distinction awarded to only 10 children’s hospitals nationwide. We have five specialties ranked among the top 10 in the nation for the first time ever and maintained our seven-year streak of achieving rankings in all 10 specialties surveyed.

Located on the campus of Rady Children's Hospital, the Institute for Genomic Medicine incorporates both state-of-the-art infrastructure and expertise to provide rapid Whole Genome Sequencing™ (rWGS®) to aid in the diagnosis of children with rare genetic disease.
